Balchandar goes ga-ga over Asin

The best compliment Asin received recently was when veteran director K.Balachandar, went ga-ga over her at a public function.
The noted writer- director and the doyen of Tamil film industry said- "I'm a big fan of Asin! When she used to model for silk saris, and it appeared on television, my wife used to say ‘here comes your favourite girl’! By the time I found out that she is Asin and wanted to introduce her in films, somebody else beat me to it!"
Asin was bowled over by KB's gushing references to her. Says Asin: "I'm touched by KB sir’s speech in which he spoke so highly about me. It made my day. Such encouraging words from the doyen of Tamil film industry, was overwhelming. Every actress in India would love to work in a K.Balachandar film." Asin who is now shooting for Ghajini Hindi version with Aamir Khan in Mumbai, has almost completed her work for Dasavatharam, except for a song and some scenes.
