Sivaji director Shankar dumps Kamal Hassan for Hrithik

Who would want to wait for an ageing regional star when a Bollywood hunk comes calling?
Barely a month after belting out a stupendous hit in Sivaji, Shankar is back at work. The director, who has been on a month-long vacation, is said to begin work on a humungous project soon.
Titled Robo, it will be a sci-fi film set in the future; Chennai, 3050 to be precise. The movie will involve a lot of computer graphics and is rumoured to star Hrithik Roshan. It seems the Bollywood star has been quite keen on working with the director for a while now. Robo will be made in Hindi with a Hollywood studio presenting it.
Initially, the film was supposed to star Kamal Hassan and was to be made in Tamil. But when Hrithik came into the scene, out went Kamal and the idea of a regional flick. What does the Southern star have to say? We're waiting to hear!
