Ayesha says NO to Alladin

The talented actress Ayesha Takia said No to her Home Delivery director Sujoy Ghosh's Alladin. The news really surprised many, as Sujoy is one gentleman in an industry, filled with sharks. And Ayesha had nice things to say after her Home delivery experience, though the film bombed like anything.

Apparently the issue is regarding the money! Alladin is a huge budget movie, having a budget of around 60 crores. When Ayesha Takia was offered Rs 50 lakh for the leading lady's role, she got angry. She felt she deserved more in this high budget movie.

I feel sad for Sujoy. After his successful Jhankar Beats, he took long time to release another movie Home Delivery. Home Delivery was a nightmarish experiment which he wants to forget. Alladin is his ambitious project, with loads of graphics and special effects. His earlier producer left him in the lurch after prefering to opt out of the movie at middle stage. But someone like Big B stood by him and opted to act in the movie. Finally Eros decided to finance this big budget movie.

What Ayesha needs to realise is that Alladin is a big budget movie because of the special effects and graphics. And a passionate director like Sujoy needs the support of bollywood actors, as Alladin is his crucial point of his film career. He's well-educated, passionate and ready to take risks. Bollywood needs such talent.
