Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge contestant Aneek publicly expresses his feelings for Mirza

Actress Dia Mirza was on the sets of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 with Shamita Shetty at Famous Studios, Mahalaxmi, to promote their upcoming film Cash, when one of the contestants, Aneek Dhar, could not contain his emotions and said, “I love you. Do you love me?”Banda yeh bindaasDia was shocked by Aneek’s demand for a reply. Embarrassed, she did not know how to react. After some time, she shot back saying, “I love you too, Aneek, but for your singing.”Says a unit hand, “As soon as Aneek finished his song (from Pyar Ke Side/Effects), he told Ismail Darbar (judge) that he wanted to say something. Ismail least expected that Aneek would be so bindaas.”While the judge preferred to walk off the stage when Aneek expressed his feelings to Dia, Himesh Reshammiya (the other judge) joked, “This is the shortest love story that I have seen in my life.”When contacted, Dia could not stop laughing. “Yeah, this incident did happen. What else do you expect me to tell Aneek except praise his singing talent, which definitely exists? I have had people stopping me at public places and saying that they love me, but not publicly like this,” she says.On the other hand, Aneek is far from apologetic of what he told Dia. He says, “I really love Dia too much. I have seen all her films. She has a lovely face and sparkling eyes. I like Aishwarya Rai too, but Dia is special. Ash and Dia resemble each other. I am only 18 years old. I wish that she were younger than me. I would have proposed marriage to her.”

Our comment: Channels love these kind of publicity. All that matters for channels is TRPs, so any publicity is a good publicity. We have seen judges fighting like cats and dogs on TV shows. And channels leak those stories to media to gain publicity. Reality shows can't get more dirtier!
