Shilpa Shetty is Miss Bollywood
Shilpa Shetty is very close to finalising her Bollywood musical in the UK. Although the working title of the musical is From Bollywood to Hollywood, the final production is expected to be ‘Miss Bollywood’. Designer to the stars, Neeta Lulla, will be doing Shilpa’s costume for the show while ace choreographer Ganesh Hegde will be the man behind the actress’ moves.
Although the music composer and the director for the musical have been confirmed, Shilpa’s camp is not ready to give out the details just yet. “We have decided the people behind the musical but will make the announcement only closer to the launch. But what I can tell you is that it’s going to be spectacular and exactly what the world has come to expect from Shilpa,” says Shetty’s spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar.
Sources close to the actress say that things are being kept under wrap and will be released drip by drip. “Ganesh Hegde has been roped in to do the choreography of the show. Neeta is working hard to give Shilpa the look that she wants. The outfits will be very ethnic,” he said. “And knowing Shilpa she is involved in everything every step of the way. It’s going to be as good as any of the musicals that UK has seen till date.”
The musical will premiere in what has now become her second home - the UK- and will remain there for the first three months. After that is expected to travel to other parts of the world including the US and Australia. The musical will follow the long string of projects that Shetty has initiated in UK which include a cookbook, a DVD on yoga, her perfume S2 and her upcoming restaurant.
