Sridevi to make a comeback!

Super heroine of one time Sridevi has been grooming her family and two daughters for the last eight years after her marriage to Anil Kapoor's elder brother Boney Kapoor. Since Boney has been producer for Sridevi's many movies before marriage, people have been asking about Sri's comeback movie. Now Boney has returned from a five-week tour of the US and Russia. He was scouting for locations for his wife's comeback project. Boney confirmed this “I am planning a project that will hopefully do full justice to Sri's comeback. I'm aware her fans haven't changed their loyalties."For the last couple of years, in fact, ever since her kids started going to school, rumours about Sridevi’s return have been floating around. And the actress hasn’t let herself go. When she does put in an appearance she still makes as many heads turn as she did in her heyday. But Boney believes the time is right for a comeback. A few years ago Yash Raj Films was planning to re-launch Sridevi's career but the project did not materialise. Now they are producing Aaja Nachle, which is Madhuri Dixit’s comeback film. The Ek, Do, Teen girl was Sridevi's closest competitor at one time. A lot of people feel Sridevi was a bigger star than Madhuri. Madhuri enjoyed the-girl-next door kind of image but Sridevi was considered to be a sex symbol. However, Boney doesn't see Madhuri as a competitor or an outsider. According to him, "Madhuri is in many ways a product of our production house. Some of her finest films like Pukar were for us. Both Sri and I are very proud of her and we don’t see her as a competitor. “The relationship between Sridevi and Boney began on the sets of Mr India even though Boney was ‘happily’ married then. Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja flopped badly but it did not affect the relationship between the two of them. Sridevi’s last film was Judaai and the film was a huge hit. This also happened because the two had already got married by then. But Boney hopes her comeback venture will be even more successful than Judaai. And he is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that.
